FILTERS
We carry a variety of replacement filters, pre filters, and carbon filters for negative air machines. Every air machine is different, so consult your owner's manual to see what kind size filter you need for your machine. We have included the brand and machine name of matching air machines in the product name to make it easier for you to determine what kind of filter you need.
Negative air machines accept multiple stages of filters which can vary by machine. The first filter in all scrubbers is a basic pre filter that is used to filter large particulate and dust, extending the life of your later stage filters. A second stage filter varies greatly depending on the type of machine. Aerospace America machines take ring panel 2nd stage filters, while most other machines take pleated 2nd stage filters. Additionally, some machines can accept carbon pleated filters at the second stage, like the Abatement Technologies Predator machines. The third stage filter slot is available in select machines and is almost always fitted with a pleated carbon filter for filtering out VOCs and foul odors. In all machines, the final filter either the general purpose filter or the HEPA filter, depending on the strength of filtration required. The more early stage filters you have, the longer your HEPA filter will last, and the cleaner your air will be.
